Occupational safety and health (OSH) is an area concerned with the safety, health and welfare of people engaged in work or employment. The goals of occupational safety and health programs include :- fostering a safe and healthy work environment protecting employers, employees, co-workers, family members and customers WHY IT IS IMPORTANT? The Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, was established in 1994 to encourage employees and employers to decrease workplace hazards. The Act recommends that both parties cooperatively establish workplace-specific safety standards and establishes training programs for occupational safety and health. The Act has sets safety and health standards for many work environments, and ensures that employers, manufacturer and employees comply with those standards. As such, CUCMS would like to propose FOUR effective modules on how to identify, access and control hazards that could cause serious physical injury or death at the place of work. Trainer’s Profile

Mr. Rosli Bin Abdul Rahman has worked in both the manufacturing and servicing sector, having attained “Hands-on-Experience” in all aspects of Management in Human Resource and HSE. He has been involved in many activities related to HSE and HRM to ensure that companies are complying with all legal requirements. In view of his capability, many companies have called him to provide customised training for their organizations. He is passionate about training and believes that every training session must meet the need of the audience, rather than just to tick a box in a training folder

He has more than 21 years of experience in the industry. Currently he works as the Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Occupational Safety and Health at Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences.
