IntroductionMy name is Silvia Herrera from FLAAR Reports and I
flew from Barcelona to Madrid at beginning of October 2011 to
attend Viscom Sign Spain, a week after Viscom Sign Paris and a week
before Viscom Dusseldorf. FLAAR goal is to assist printshop owners,
managers, wide-format distributors and manufacturers to be aware of
what is happening around the world in the mar-ket of wide format
printers. Many people skip Viscom Sign Spain because each year it
is getting smaller. Dr Hellmuth attended Viscom Sign Madrid in many
years in the past, but by 2008 the number of booths at this Madrid
expo was embarrassingly few and it was no longer worth attending.
But for 2011 we wanted to see how the expo had recovered.

As we know some people have been skip-ping this trade show since
it is getting small-er, but we can mention some good things about
Viscom Sign Spain like is strategically located near to airport,
next to the subway.
As manufacture you can find a lot of Span-ish distributors at
this trade show, some-thing that maybe you won´t find at other
trade shows. Some exhibitors that were present at Viscom Sign can´t
afford bigger trade shows, so always is a good idea to attend small
trade shows.
Viscom Sign Spain is adopting a new strat-egy to attract more
visitors: more lectures, some contests, and new attractions like
the green route. My only question as an editor for FLAAR Reports
is, how successful will this strategy be?, or, where will the trade
show be moved? because I saw lots of students walking at the
corridors more than possible clients, we will see…
