PTPTN APPLICATION

Good news to all Diploma and Degree Malaysian students – the

application for PTPTN loan is now OPEN!!!

1) How and where to apply?

The application is via online at www.ptptn@gov.my. A pin no. amounting RM5.00 is required for log-in. It can be purchased at Bank Simpanan

Nasional and is only valid for 6 months from the purchasing date.

2) When are the closing dates? Is there any appeal if I did not meet the due dates?

The closing date is 15th February and 15th March for the 1st half of the year. No appeal will be entertained if you failed to meet the due dates.

3) What are the REQUIREMENTS?

Applicants MUST have either SPM or UEC

Applicants MUST have opened a SSPN account. Advisable to be done at Maybank with minimum of RM20.00. This is for saving and repayment

purpose only.

Applicants MUST open a CIMB Berhad Saving account under the student name. This is for loan disbursement purpose.

4) When and how can I know the outcome?

The outcome will be emailed to your personal email / corresponding email OR you can check it from your PTPTN account, 7 working days after

the closing date.

Please ensure the start date (Tarikh Mula Pengajian), the parent incomes (gross & net) and the program enrolled is correct. Assumption is

strongly NOT ADVISABLE because submitted application cannot be edited / amended.
