5. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:-

(i) AGE: - Upto 30 Years. (i.e., not born before 15/07/1984).

Cutoff date for detennining the age will be 15th July, 2014 (15/07/2014).Note:-

i) The upper age limit is relaxable for SC & ST persons in accordance withthe Governments orders on the subject.

10. APPLICATION FEE:

The candidates belonging to General and OBC category should pay the fee ofRs. 50/- (Fifty only) (non-refundable) as application fee by means of "CentralRecruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)" only. CRFS stamps are available at the counterof all Post Offices of the country. Recruitment Fee Stamps should be pasted on theapplication form in the space earmarked for the purpose and got cancelled from theCounter of Post Office of issue with the date stamp of the issuing Post Office in sucha manner that the impression or the cancellation stamps partially overflows on theApplication Form itself, taking care at the same time that the impression is clear anddistinct to facilitate the identification of date and Post Office of issue at anysubsequent stage.

Note: Application received with any other mode of fee payment will be summarilyrejected. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and females areexempted from paying fee.

I2. SELECTION PROCESS:

The candidates whose applications are found to be in order shall be issuedAdmit Cards to appear in recruitment test. The date and place of recruitment testwill be indicated in Admit card. Candidates will have to undergo the followingtests:

5. Interview- The Candidates, who obtain the prescribed passing marks20 Marks in written examination, will be called for Interview to

check personal bearing, response, aptitude, general level ofintelligence etc.

Note:Those who do not qualify any stage will get eliminated from the process

a) Merit List:Merit lists for each category namely, Gen, SC and ST will be drawn on the basisof combined marks obtained by the candidates in the Written test and Interview.The candidates shall be short listed for detailed Medical Examination (DME) asper the category-wise vacancies on the basis of this merit.

b) Resolution of Tie cases:

a) The tie is resolved by the Recruitment Board by referring to the totalmarks in the Written Test & Interview as applicable i.e. a candidatehaving more marks get preference over the candidate(s) with less marks.

b) If the tie still persists, the candidate older in age gets preference.c) If the tie still persists, it is finally resolved by referring to the alphabetical

order of names i.e. a candidate who name begins with the alphabet whichcomes first in the alphabetical order gets preference.

c) CHECKING OF DOCUMENTS:Testimonials of the candidates will be checked at the time of Detailed

Medical Examination (DME). Original documents will be returned on the spot

-8-after verification and attested photocopies of certificates will be retained withthe application. It is important that the candidates applying for this recruitmentcheck their eligibility, to avoid disappointment at later stage.

d) DETAILED MEDICAL EXAMINATION: .Candidates shortlisted in order of merit will be put through a detailed

medical examination to assess their fitness as per medical policy issued byMBA.

13. APPEAL IN CASE OF REJECTION IN DETAILED MEDICALEXAMINATION:

A candidate declared unfit in detailed medical examination if not satisfiedwith the findings of the Medical Officer, can submit an application for his re-medical examination with a duly filled Medical fitness certificate (at Annexure-V) as a proof of evidence about the possibility of error of judgment on the partof Recruitment Medical Officer.

I. The medical certificate will not be taken into consideration unless itcontains a note by the medical practitioner concerned to the effect that ithas been given in full knowledge of the fact that the candidate has alreadybeen rejected as unfit for appointment in ITBP by a Medical Officer.

II. The appeal will also not be taken into consideration unless it containsMedical Re-Examination Fee of Rs. 25/- in form of Indian Postal Orderand Rejection Slip (original) issued by the Presiding Officer. RME fee inthe form of IPO should be prepared in the name of INSPECTORGENERAL (Eastern) Frontier, ITB Police.

iii. The appeal complete in all respects should be submitted within 15 daysfrom the date of issue of the communication i.e. Rejection Slip (ITBP willnot be responsible for any postal delay) in which the finding of theMedical Officer are communicated to the candidate. The application forre-medical examination shall be sent to THE INSPECTOR GENERAL(Eastern) Frontier, ITB Police, Sheela Complex, Vidhan SabhaMarg, Near Radio Station, Hazaratganj, Lucknow (UP) Pin code -226001. The decision of the re-medical board of ITBP shall be final andno 2nd appeal will be entertained as per Govt. instructions. No reply of thecorrespondence for second appeal will be considered/entertained.

14. Candidates who are already in Central/State Govt. service includingdepartmental candidates should send their application through proper channel with"No Objection Certificate" from their employer. Application received without properchannel and "No Objection Certificate" will be rejected.
