Our LIFEjourney team is growing! We are excited to introduce you to these gifted, passionate, and faith-filled individuals…

• Doug Mauss (Small Groups Director) is currently attending Concordia Seminary to finish his Masters of Divinity. He previously worked in publishing and wrote a comic book version of the Bible. He and his wife, Mia, have three children: Fable, Cypher, and Ember. Fun fact: Doug would eat Asian food every day if he could afford it and his favorite Bible story is the one about Ehud, the left-handed ninja assassin of God!

• Dorothy Vollmayer (Hospitality & Small Groups Coordinator) graduated from Missouri State last year with a degree in Entertainment Management. She previously worked as an intern at the Scottrade Center, and is currently is planning her wedding for October 2016. Fun fact: Dorothy wishes it was socially acceptable to do nothing but binge watch Netflix and eat buffalo chicken dip.

• Jon Shepherd (Associate Director of Student Ministry) and his wife, Kelly, came to St. John from Lakeland, FL. Jon’s extensive experience in church and camp settings have helped him develop a passion for student ministry through relationships, discipleship, worship, missions, and service. Fun fact: Jon’s diet consists of Chick-Fil-A and Starbucks and he considers himself an elite foosball player and an internet guru.

Worship Administrative CoordinatorThis position is responsible for the coordination and support for the Worship team including all administration functions, project management, professional meeting minutes, ordering supplies, monthly metrics and creating the slides to be displayed in worship services. Part-time position working 26–28 hours a week with typical working days: Monday–Wednesday from 8:00am–3:00pm and Friday from 8:00am–4:00pm.
