Well Glasgow, you asked and we delivered! Welcome to the very first North Hop Glasgow at SWG3.

Continuing this years ‘on the road’ dates we are delighted to be stopping off in Glasgow to showcase some of the very best breweries, bars, producers, foodies and musical talent on the Scottish scene.

They say ‘People Make Glasgow’ but we say ‘Glasgow Makes Awesome Beer’ and that’s why we are delighted to have some of Glasgow’s finest breweries joining us here today, keeping all you hop heads happy. And if that isn’t enough we are also delighted to be offering up a special limited edition Festival Brew from Glasgow’s very own experimental brewery, Drygate Brewing Co... a California Common with raspberries which is not to be missed!

From Beer Hall to Cocktail Lounge all you gin, wine, spirit and cocktail lovers will not be disappointed with the selection on offer. Be adventurous, let our talented bartenders surprise you and try something new...

Our festival MC, STV’s Nicola McAlley will be gracing the stage to keep you all updated with special announcements as the day goes on.

And no North Hop festival would be complete without an epic line-up of food, market traders, and good old fun, so get those glasses filled and enjoy the day!

You will find the Beer Hall with Hop Stage on the ground floor within the TV Studio and the Cocktail Lounge with Botanical Stage on the first floor within the Warehouse (accessible via stairs and lift).

Registration and Merchandise can be found at the main entrance to SWG3.

Hop Sessions will take place in the Photography Studio on the second floor but please meet at the designated area next to Registration 10 minutes prior to session start time to be shown to the room.

Toilets can be found on both floors.

FESTIVAL INFO

The festival glass you received on arrival is yours to keep, so please hold onto it as you will require it for all beers and ciders, and you can also use it for cocktails and other drinks.

The token you received with your glass on arrival can be exchanged to enjoy a 1/2 pint of our special Festival Brew at the Drygate bar.

Glass rinsing stations and fresh drinking water can be found in both the Beer Hall and the Cocktail Lounge.

Please note, all bars and stands are operated on a cash basis and no token system is in place. The nearest cash machine is located around a 10 minute walk away. Please ask one of our crew members or security for directions if required.

All bars will be open from the session start time until 15 minutes prior to the session end time (last orders will be called 30 minutes before the session end time), and any off-sales alcohol purchases must be made before 10pm during the evening session and cannot be consumed on the premises.

Beers and ciders will be served as 2/3 pint or 1/2 pint measures.

Your festival wristband will allow you re-entry during the specified session/s.
