THE SIXTH SONA OF PRESIDENT AQUINOSa Gitna ng Matuwid na Daan Pilipinas Kumusta Na?July 27, 2015What are your expectations in the sixth SONA of the President?

I expect more on the SONA of the President. First, he will tell us what he has been achieved in his plans. In fighting the corruption and reforming governance, the reducing of the poverty here in our country and growing of the economy. Second, he will say that there are plans that not yet finish or missteps but still need to be done. Lastly, e will likely emphasize that it is critical that this transformation process carries over to the next term.

What are the possible issues that the President will address on Monday?

The possible issues that President will address are first, his accomplishment in fighting the corruption and poverty and the gain in economy. His plans in terms of education like the K to 12. The underemployed that is the problem here in our country. The problem in MRT. Highlighted the achievements of the government in transportation and communications, tax/revenue, labor and wages, international relations, education, budget and finance, peace, social welfare, justice, disaster preparedness, national security, economy, infrastructure, governance and reform. What are the significant accomplishments of P-Noy for the past 5years based on the following aspects?

A.Economy- the Philippines has rebounded to become a tiger economy, much sought after by international investors, an achievement attributed to prudent fiscal management and good governance by the Aquino administration.

B.Education- he reported that of 223,615 scholars of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), are now employed. Overall, efforts in job generation resulted in additional 1.65 million Filipinos employed from April 2013 to April 2014,

C. Poverty alleviation- Aquino highlighted the 'Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program' or 4Ps which now have 4.4 million beneficiaries from 786,523 in 2010. In 2008, there were 2.9 million out of school youth in the country. In 2013, only 1.2 million out of school youth remained.

D. Security Measures- With the lifting by the ICAOof safety concerns it had previously issued for the Philippines, and the European Union removing the ban on Philippine Airlines flights, the tourism sector has also begun to surge, he reported.

Did the Filipino people achieve economic growth based from what the Pres. Brag about?

Yes, In a 2014 study, the World Bank found improvements in health and education indicators among beneficiaries. The program has also taken in more beneficiaries from 337,000 families in 2008 to 4.4 million families or 19 million individuals in 2015.The country's 4Ps is now the world's fourth largest conditional cash transfer program based on number of beneficiaries behind India, Brazil, and Mexico. But as for the program's aim of solving poverty in the long term, Pernia said the reduction of poverty during the Aquino administration has not been dramatic.

Was there an improvement on progress in your lives for the past 5years?

Yes, theres an improvement on the progress in the past 5 years. The Philippines has emerged as one ofthe fastest growing economiesin the world, impressively rivaling the dizzying growth rates of fellow Asian countries such as China. Underthe stewardship of the Aquino administration, the Philippines has presided over an unprecedented period of macro-economic buoyancy and political stability, which has, in turn, revived domestic and international business confidence in the Southeast Asian nation. In a scale of 1-10 with 10 as the highest, what rate will you give Pres. Aquino? Why?

I will rate President Aquino at 7. As what the he addresses in the SONA, he has many accomplishment and still need to be done. Hes just the president or the leader of the country and we are the members that need to help him whatever he has plans. Nobodys perfect thats why I only gave him 7. He still need to do more efforts and finish what his plans to make the Philippines better and be the best.
