On July 6th, 40 children from Kinder Manzanita visited American Corner with the Teachers and the principal of the school. The children visited the Reading room and learned about the importance of the Library. On the second floor American Corner Coordinator prepared a room with children`s stories—the childrens enjoyed the books., them colored drawing, watched a story on line and finally a craft with a pencil.

On July 2 at the Emily Dickinson Library from Binational Center, 25 En-glish ACCESS Students from Managua received training about eLi-braryUSA and Kindle (electronic book), also recived information about the Emily Dickinson Library and American Corner Services. The students re-ceived bookmarks, pencils as a souvenir.

On July 12th, 2012 were the 7 Anniversary of American Corner and Award Marathon Reading. The Cultural Affairs Officer from the American Embassy participated and gave the award for the first, second, third and fourth places. Also the per-mormace of English Teacher Alfred Guill with a sons “Bilwi Mairing and Over-night Party “, Poem about “Jabberwoeky” Lewis Carroll By Emery Meza and Words of thanks by Belkis Rugama participats Reading Club

The first webinar7 was July 11 “Teaching with Jazz Chants” The second webinar7 was july 25- “Unraveling the Mystery of Academic Writing” Participanted 18 Englisn teachers and students.

American Corner Coordinator participated at the Summer Camp English language learning brought together forty-five young girls and bo-ys from ten departments of Nicaragua. The “English Creates Opportunities” (ECO) camp was the fourth intensive English camp for high school students sponsored by the U.S. Em-bassy.

On july 1, 2, and3, 2012. 110 upper level students from Binational Center saw the documentary “The founding of a Nation Benjamin Franklin” in commemoration Independence Day.

Every day the Reading Club is growing On July 31 participated 14 English Students. The presenter was Rodolfo Mendieta—BNC.

The topic: “Understanding grammar in Questions” The students were the opportunity clean the mistakes and make a good gramatical

structure.
