Our project is aimed at empowering

schools to enhance and to assess

equity through the development of

several intellectual outputs and

actions. This highlights the

importance of assessing equity in

schools to raise awareness among

educational stakeholders. You can

Nuestro proyecto tiene como objetivo capacitar a las escuelas para

fomentar y evaluar la equidad mediante el desarrollo de diversos

productos intelectuales y acciones de difusión para que los dirigentes

escolares tomen conciencia de la importancia de evaluar las

condiciones de equidad de los centros educativos. Encontrará más

The second transnational meeting of

the project was held in Swansea (UK)

from the 14th to the 16th of May.

We made progress on two

intellectual outputs, the theoretical

framework on equity and the

description of best practices. Also,

we visited Pembroke Dock

Community School, a good example

of school equity. These are the

colleagues who attended the

meeting.

La segunda reunión transnacional del proyecto fue en Swansea (Gales)

del 14 al 16 de mayo. En la reunión se avanzó en dos de los productos

intelectuales del proyecto, el marco teórico de la equidad en educación y

la descripción de buenas prácticas. Además visitamos la escuela

Pembroke Dock Community School, un buen ejemplo de equidad escolar.

Estos son los compañeros que asistieron a la reunión.

The majority of the time in Swansea was spent

progressing the theoretical framework of school

equity. We had already defined school equity and we

had also set six dimensions. It was time to go further

and we split the six dimensions into several sub-

dimensions, which will allow us to build an

interactive rubric with four levels of attainment.

In the image below, you can see our definition of

school equity, the six dimensions with a short

description for each one and the sub-dimensions

within each school equity dimension.

La mayor parte del tiempo en Swansea se empleó

para avanzar en el marco teórico de la equidad

escolar. Ya habíamos definido la equidad escolar y

también habíamos fijado seis dimensiones. Era hora

de ir más allá y dividir las seis dimensiones en varias

subdimensiones, que permitirán construir una

rúbrica interactiva con cuatro niveles de logro.

We have started to describe and to record best practice in school equity. We want to gather several

best practices for each dimension of our school equity definition from the different participating

countries. All practices will be available from our website. You can already watch two practices from

our partner Institut El Calamot. One practice is “Educational Coaching” linked to our personal and social

development dimension. The other one is “School Sports Plan” linked to our inclusion dimension.

Hemos empezado a describir y registrar buenas prácticas de equidad escolar. Queremos recoger varias

buenas prácticas para cada dimensión de nuestra definición de equidad escolar de los diferentes países

participantes. Todas las prácticas estarán disponibles en nuestro sitio web. Ya se pueden ver dos de

nuestro socio el Instituto El Calamot de Gavà. Una práctica es "Coaching educativo" vinculada a la

dimensión de desarrollo personal y social. La otra es el "Plan escolar deportivo" vinculado a la

dimensión de inclusión.

School Sports Plan

Our partnership is formed by the following institutions, which are schools, universities and educational authorities from

Belgium, Italy, Romania, Spain and the United Kingdom. All of them are coordinated by the Inspectorate of Education of

Catalonia.

La red está formada por nueve instituciones, centros educativos, universidades y autoridades educativas de Bélgica, España, Italia, Reino Unido y Rumanía; coordinados por la Inspección de Educación de Cataluña.

The third transnational meeting

of the project will be held in Sibiu

(Romania) from the 24th to the

26th of October. The meeting will

focus on developing one of the

project intellectual outputs: a

training course for school heads

on equity in education.

La tercera reunión transnacional del proyecto se hará en Sibiu

(Rumanía) del 24 al 26 de octubre. El tema principal de esta reunión

será el desarrollo de uno de los productos intelectuales del

proyecto, un curso online para directivos escolares sobre equidad

en educación.

One of the intellectual outputs that we are

developing is an educational equity portal. One of

the sections is a collection of papers on school

equity. We already have more than 60 references,

from which you can read the abstract and check the

full reference according to the APA regulations.
