NEW student ORIENTATION Accessing Online New Student Orientation ( NSO) New Student Orientation is located in CANVAS on the bccc.edu homepage or at: bccc.instructure.com Step 1: Accessing Canvas and getting started 1) Go to CANVAS 2) Enter your username and password 3) Click on COURSES > New Student Orien- tation > Start Here 4) Complete the 4 modules and score at least 80% on each quiz. Step 2: Receive credit for completing the NSO 1) Once you have completed the 4 modules click on > Grades. 2) Print out your scores and bring them to the Admission office or email [email protected] with your name and Network ID to remove the orientation hold on your account. For Assistance with CANVAS login: Click on the CANVAS Login Help Page on the login page or contact the E-Learning department at [email protected]. You can also call 410-462-7625. Your username for Canvas is the same as your network ID, which can be found on your acceptance letter. Your network ID is presented as your first initial, last name, and four randomly assigned numbers Your default password will be those same four randomly assigned numbers, followed by your date of birth formatted as YYYYMMDD. EXAMPLE: John Smith was born July 20th, 1990. Username: jsmith5032 Default Password: 503219900720

Accessing Online New Student Orientation (NSO)

New Student Orientation is located in CANVAS on the bccc.edu homepage or at:bccc.instructure.com

Step 1: Accessing Canvas and getting started 1) Go to CANVAS 2) Enter your username and password 3) Click on COURSES > New Student Orien- tation > Start Here 4) Complete the 4 modules and score at least 80% on each quiz.
