SPECIFICATIONS

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, BE IT KNOWN THAT I, 1) citizen of the United States, have invented a new and useful 2) which the following is a specification: 3) (INSERT PURPOSE OR FUNTION OF INVENTION) ,a , device of

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the InventionThis invention relates generally to the field of apparatus for a 4) Moreover it pertains specifically to such apparatus for 5) . .

2

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIn view of the limitations now present in the prior art, the present invention provides a new and useful 6) (Insert-C purpose or function of invention) which is simpler in construction, more universally usable and more versatile in operation than known apparatus of this kind. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a new 7) (Insert-C purpose or function of invention) device that has many novel features not offered by the prior art apparatus that result in a new 8) (Insert-C purpose or function of invention) device which is not apparent, obvious, or suggested, either directly or indirectly by any of the prior art apparatus 9) (Insert-E physical description of the invention) SAMPLE: The present invention generally comprises two clips that are of a single extruded embodiment. The first clip has a downward facing mouth opening to an inner surface, which is shaped to accept an article such as a belt, clothing pocket, or fishing tackle box front vertical edge by means of pushing the clip down onto the article thereby pushing the mouth of the clip apart to accept the article. The second clip has an upward facing mouth opening to an inner surface, which is shaped to accept two separate cylindrical articles of differing diameter, or the two halves of a fishing pole in the disassembled state. First, the smaller of the two cylindrical articles is clipped in place by pushing the article into the innermost part of the mouth of the clip thereby urging it apart to accept and hold the article in place. Second, the larger of the cylindrical articles is clipped in place by pushing the article against the opening of the mouth thereby urging it apart to accept and hold the article in place.

The foregoing has outlined, in general, the physical aspects of the invention and is to serve as an aid to better understanding the more complete detailed description which is to follow. In reference to such, there is to be a clear understanding that the present invention is not limited to the method or detail of construction, fabrication, material, or application of use described and illustrated herein. Any other variation of fabrication, use,

or application should be considered apparent as an alternative embodiment of the present invention.

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURESAMPLE: 10) A fishing pole transportation and storage device having first and second clips with their mouths facing in generally opposing directions. The apparatus is designed to attach, by means of the first clip, to the users fishing tackle box, belt, pocket, or other accepting article, or mount to any vertical surface by utilization of either the fastener slot provided on the vertical face of the first clip, or by adhesion material to be mounted on the vertical face of the first clip, with the mouth facing in a generally downward position. The second clip is provided with an inner surface which is shaped to hold, either one cylindrical article, or two cylindrical articles of differing diameters, and a generally upward facing mouth which is open to allow the legs of the second clip to be urged apart when a cylindrical article is pressed against it. A substantially cylindrical article is inserted into, and held in place by, the second clip by pressing the article against the mouth of the clip and pushing the article into contact with the inner surface.
