Placement Test

Designed to support schools in making quick and informed decisions during the admissions process, the Placement Test assesses English proficiency and reasoning ability in approximately 90 minutes.

Available online and with no pre-registration needed, the test enables schools to assess students quickly and easily. Results are instant, offering benchmarked data that is highly valuable for supporting admissions decisions.

Because the Placement Test is not curriculum specific, it is suitable for all schools that are teaching curricula through the medium of the English language.

Group Report for Schools

Reports are delivered instantly, accessible via the digital dashboard. These are presented in a new, stripped-back format, making it easy to focus on the most relevant information.

Two separate reports for teachers and parents are provided – ideal for sharing with teaching colleagues if a student is admitted mid-year, or to use with parents if feedback is required.

Which ages can we test?

The Placement Test is currently suitable for students from ages 7:06–14:11 years. In order to ensure the data you received is standardised and benchmarked against students of a similar age, students must be tested with the level that corresponds to their current age.
