• they are social, and depend heavily on their use of technology to keep in touch (Web 2.0)

• use multiple technologies to obtain and share information on an on demand basis.

2. How do new learners use technology?

The interactive and social nature of digital technologies means that they are woven seamlessly into the lives of our students. To them, the online world is a reflection and extension of the offline world. For this generation, it is not about the technology, it is about real life.
