New collaboration with British jewellery designer Alex Monroe for Buckingham Palace

To celebrate this year's Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace, Royal Collection Trust has collaborated with British jeweller Alex Monroe on an exclusive collection. The luxurious 17-piece range entitled Alex Monroe for Buckingham Palace is inspired by decorative features in the State Rooms of the Palace. The jewellery takes inspiration from objects and ornamentation along the visitor route, from acorns and cascading grapes, to wreaths of roses and opulent tassels and swags. These features have been recreated in the form of delicate rings, necklaces, and earrings. The jewellery is hand-made in Alex Monroe’s London studios in sterling silver, and plated with 22ct gold.

Alex Monroe for Buckingham Palace will be available exclusively from Royal Collection Trust shops at Buckingham Palace and The Queen's Gallery, and online (royalcollection.org.uk/shop), and at Alex Monroe’s London Bridge Boutique. The range will launch on 25 July, when the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace open to visitors for the summer, as part of A Royal Welcome.

A Royal Welcome is part of a visit to the Summer Opening of the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace, 25 July – 27 September 2015. Advance tickets and visitor information: www.royalcollection.org.uk, T. +44 (0)20 7766 7300.
