When I was a child I was cross-eyed. I did not look like the princess of the mother. I know what it means to be different. I think this experience taught me how I can distinguish genuine empathy or fake- friendliness between each other. Since I used glasses since the age of 3 my cross-eyed problem has gone, but my body remembers the feeling of “exclusion” and “double communications”. Maybe that is the reason I am so attached with fragile stories. I am not using my camera as a voyeur but as a tool, which can bring up the inner strength of any human being.N.Ö. Lorentzen
