Because d3b version numbers of rosddl (part of olap_services) and aoaddl (part of repaoa) of GR 5.2 CD3 are inferior of those of OSS5.2 MP1 the upgrade will fail:

Now, proceed with the regular method of CD 4453 installation on top of (OSS5.3 CD3+GR 5.3CD3 or OSS5.3 MP1 + GR5.3 CD3) system.

5.1.16 Workaround to avoid failure of upgrade from OSS5.3CD3 + GR5.3CD3 (with RTEKOA installed) to OSS5.3MPx due to problems with the dependencies of rpm-build package

The workaround available is removing the rpm-build package before the upgrade to latest OSS5.3 MPx version.

To uninstall rpm build tool:

[root@<ALL_CS>] rpm –qa | grep rpm-build | xargs rpm –e

And

[root@<ALL_DS>] rpm –qa | grep rpm-build | xargs rpm –e

After the OSS5.3MPx installation, you need to install the rpm-build package according with new versions of dependencies, in order to have all funcionality of RTEKOA availables.
