A theme based on the age of flight. May be able to have pieces or people from National soaring museum in Elmira or the War Plane Museum. Also can be used to remember the tenth anniversary of 9/11.

At Camp Gorton there are twelve campsites that are available for our use. Five of them are on one side of County Road 25. • Algonquin• Mohawk • Don Cobb• Iroquois A• Iroquois B

The other seven sites are on the opposite side of County Road 25 • Onondaga • Blackfoot• Oneida • Cherokee• Andaste• Seneca • Cayuga

At Camp Gorton there is one rule that all must follow. Absolutely no one is allowed on County Road 25.

Instead of using the road to travel from one side of the camp to the other there are two tunnels.

The Gorton Dining Hall is fully capable of holding everyone in attendance comfortably. There can be 304 people max inside the dining hall at one time. If we fill the dining hall then the outside porch will hold around 75 more people.

The dining hall has another unique feature.It is capable to be divided into three separate parts using the dividing walls located on the north and south sides of the hall

Camp Gorton’s waterfront is located on Waneta Lake. Being that it is a large lake we have a lot of space to use for aquatic events.

There will not be a dock in place during the conclave so there must be unique arrangements made if a swamp-a-thon is wanted.

The Parade Field is large enough to hold multiple events.

It is roughly the size of a football field.
