Chapter Activities 1、 Visiting and Learning
On 30th Nov 2015, we visited the China International new material and Industrial Technology Expo (CINME), Ningbo 2015. We learned about the technological innovation of material preparation, the extension in the field of material application and the new materials and their application prospect.
2、 Attending Forefront Forum On 4th Dec 2015, we took part in the forefront forum of Photoelectric detecting material and devices key laboratory.
3、 Holding an Academic Report meeting On 17th Dec 2015, we held an academic report meeting and invited the Professor Wang as report meeting advisor. All of our chapter members introduced own research contents. We discussed and learned new optical knowledges.
4、 Holding a Party On 25th Dec 2015, we held a party to celebrate the Christmas and the New Year’s Day. We invited almost all the teachers and postgraduates of Optical specialty in Ningbo University to join us. The enjoyable party promoted the feeling of harmony and amity for each other.
5、 Sharing Optical Knowledge On 7th Apr 2016, we went to Kongpu Middle School to share the optical knowledge with students. We introduced some basic optical phenomena in our daily lives to the students, and showed them some interesting experiments to help them have a better understanding of optics and optical phenomena. The students learned optical knowledges and enjoyed this process.

6、Enabling the new banner On 14th Apr 2016, we enabled the new banner (on the right side of the figure) through the Chapter Conference.
7、Outdoor Activities On 23th Apr 2016, we toured the Xiangshan Film and TV City. We understood the technologies of television and film, and visited the stage set. We had a great day there.
Financial Information NBU SPIE Student Chapter received an activity grant of
$ 630.86 from SPIE. Due to the exchange rate, the total fund of
2015 was ¥ 4070.

1、 Recruit new members with propaganda and activities 2、 Invite or visit other SPIE student chapters in China to
promote academic communication exchange and strengthen ties between each other.
3、 Hold a Christmas and New Year’s party
4、 Organize the members to participate in an expo on optical materials
5、 Introduce the optical knowledge to the college students and invite them to visit an optical Lab
6、 Share optical knowledge with middle school students
7、 Organize some outdoor activities to enhance the relationship between our members
