Primary Matting Primary mats are the first mats your visitors and staff will stand on and they are generally placed outside your building. A pre-formed fibreglass profile constructed by combining polyester resins with fibre reinforcements ensures this product is durable and its textured finish offers excellent slip resistance. The patented feather back edge further prevents trip hazards. Nosings are easy to install with fixing adhesive (see below) and can be walked on immediately, keeping disruption to a minimum.

Available in 2 types of grit surfaces: Internal with a smaller grit size suitable for internal stairs and external with a heavier grit profile ideal for outdoor use.

Two sizes are available: 55mm x 55mm suitable for new builds to meet 2004 Building Regulations. The 70mm x 30mm profile is normally used for existing buildings.
