Internship Dates Week 1 Training: May 27, 28, 29, & 31 Week 2 Teaching: June 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 Week 3 Teaching: June 10, 11, 12 13-14 Week 4 Presentations: June 18, 19, 20, 21 Internship Highlights: Develop and practice outdoor leadership & interpretive teaching skills Learn and instruct about wildlife, geology, climate and culture Practice & use journalism, digital storytelling, and audio storytelling techniques Collaborate with professionals in science and community action Create and present the program to your community Lead and Teach 12 youth about the Wildlife, People, Cultural Traditions, Food, and Music of this region. You and your internship team receive specialized training, lead explorations in the Sky Islands, prepare and eat traditional foods, plan and set up camp, facilitate activities, and inspire youth to love where they live! Earn $400 stipend for full participation, weekdays from May 27 - June 21.
