WEDNESDAY (10/06/10) AGR (Alpha Gamma Rho) Hall in the UC Davis Walter A. Buehler Alumni & Visitor Center

7:30 am – 8:45 am Registration & Continental Breakfast

9:00 am -noon Tours on the UC Davis campus: Please wear walking shoes, sunscreen; bring H2O and a hat. It is a 20 minute walk to the Arboretum from Buehler. Two transportation options: I. Double-decker bus that will depart from Buehler to the Arboretum at 8:45 am. II. There will be a walking group departing from Buehler at 8:40 am for the Arboretum.

9:00-10:45 Arboretum: Guided tour of the Arboretum Teaching Nursery, Peter J Shields Oak Grove, and the Carolee Shields White Flower & Ruth Ridson Storer Gardens.

Double-decker bus will depart from the Arboretum Storer Garden/Gazebo at 10:45 am for the Good Life Garden….there will also be a walking group leaving the Arboretum at 10:45 am for the Good Life Garden.

11:00-noon Good Life Garden: Guided tour of the organic and sustainable garden at the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine & Food Science.

Noon – 1:00 pm Lunch provided at AGR, sponsored by the CA Master Gardener Program.

1:00 pm-3:30 pm Consumer Horticulture National Committee Meeting (All are invited to attend)

1:00-1:20 Introductions and Discussion of Goals of Consumer Horticulture National Committee - Monica David, Chair-Consumer Horticulture National Committee Illinois, Master Gardener Coordinator.

1:20-1:50 Nominations & Elections for National Committee Representatives - Monica David, North East and West.
