Optimised exchangers

Today, CIAT is a world reference in exchangerdesign and manufacture.For over 70 years we have been working on

ways to provide maximum cooling capacity,reduce volume, and limit pressure drops.

The fruit of our research and experience, thenew exchangers optimise space, capacity and

performance.

Evaporators, with two or three refrigerant circuits and onehydraulic circuit, were specially developed by CIAT for the

HYDROCIAT range. Making connection on site is very simple.

The flow switch and all the sensors required for correct, safeoperation are fitted, tested and adjusted in the factory.

HYDROCIAT chillers are supplied with a transformer fitted on the control panel.A single mains supply with no neutral is all that is required.

The units are compact and easy to install.

All units are tested in factory and follow ISO 9001 procedure.

HYDROCIAT chi l lers use the latest generat ion of com-pact, accessible, hermetic screw compressors.

The latest-generation accessible hermetic screw compressors are small, quiet andhigh-performance.

The rotors, designed with a stable profile for higher performance, are precision machi-ned to significantly increase their efficiency by reducing rubbing and by-pass.

The screw compressor has fewer moving parts and is coupled directly to the gearlessdrive for lower vibration levels. The rubber anti-vibration mounts maintain noise at alow level

The compressor used by HYDROCIAT allows a wide operating range with a particularlyhigh performance. Despite their high capacity and with compressors part winding andcascade control starting, HYDROCIAT units keep an acceptable starting current.
