THE COMPANY’S NAME IS A PLAY OFF THE CEO & FOUNDER’S NICKNAME “NAAS” YANCEY. THE WORD “PROJECT” IS USED BY MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN HIS IDEA. SO WHEN YOU PUT IT TOGETHER WE “THE NAAS YANCEY PROJECT”. WE DECIDED TO DROP THE WORD “THE” FOR AESTHETIC PURPOSES. THIS NAME IS PROTECTABLE AS OUTLINED BY USPTO.gov.
