Preposition A preposition is a word invariable which connects a noun

or pronoun complement (ie a different name, a verb or a noun).Example: to, among, around, ...".

Une préposition est un mot invariable qui relie un nom ou un pronom à un complément (c'est à dire un autre nom, un verbe, ou un groupe nominal).

We use: ‘at’ for a Precise Time. ‘in’ for Months, Years, Centuries and Long Periods. ‘on’ for Days and Dates.
