WHO IS NOVACARE?

MISSION STATEMENT

• The mission of Select Medical is to provide an exceptional patient care experience that promotes healing and recovery in a compassionate environment.

MY JOB RESPONSIBILITES

• Observe physical therapy evaluations and treatments.

• Assist PT and PTA with modality set-up and clean up.

• Help with ensuring a safe environment for patients in the gym and center.

• Assist with laundry (wash, dry, and fold towels) and maintenance of a clean center environment.

DAILY ROUTINE

• Follow plan of care for each patient

• Monitor patients

• Record progress

• Initial evaluations

• Re-evaluations

PHYSICAL THERAPISTDaniel J. Walker MPT

• Walker has been the center manager for NovaCare in Exton, PA since January of 2000. Dan has been a member of the NovaCare team for 26 years as an exercise physiologist and physical therapist. Dan has specialized training in Functional Capacity Evaluations, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Fitness Programs and Sports Medicine Programs. Dan earned his Master of Physical Therapy degree in 1997 from the Institute of Physical Therapy in St. Augustine, Fla.

LEARNING EXPERIENCE
