Mv Adventure at Camp WvalusingOn the first Monday of September in the year 1998, 68 was on thier

way to Camp Wyalusing. Everyone was so excited to get away from schoolwork! It was such a long ride! Kelsey, Kari, Tara, Sam, and I were all sittingby eachother on the bus. We were talking about what pranks we could do tosomeone at night. We were coming up with pretty good ideas like puttingtoothpaste in someone's hair or putting pine needles in thier sleeping bag andmore!

When we got there it was about 1:00pm so we got to eat our lunches.After that they took us on a hike down Sugar Maple trail. It was fun but Ihave had more fun than that in my life. Then when we got back to the camparea we got to play Capture the Flag, Kickball, and Football. So we reallywere just having freetime.

Right after our spaghetti dinner we went back to the cabins to have alittle break and I told Kelsey, Kari, Tara, and Sam what we could do for aprank on Stephanie Smith. We were going to put tooth paste in her hair. Wewould all pretend to go to sleep and then put alot of tooth paste in her hair.We all agreed and were excited.

When we got back from the campfire we had to go back to the cabinsto get ready for bed. Kelsey, Kari, Tara, Sam, and I had the whole nightplanned out!! i

After everyone was done with taking showers they let us have a fewminutes to talk. but we wanted to get her sooner so we just pretended to fallasleep. A short time later Stephanie was sleeping and we had our chance sowe snuck up on her and I squirted the WHOLE fulItube of tooth paste allover her hair. Then we snuck back to our bunks. It was so funny but wetried not to laugh or someone would wake up and know it was us. Then wqall watched her from our bunks. She rubbed her head and woke up andstarted screaming. She was so loud I bet the people in the boy's cabin couldhear her. Everyone sat up and the light came on as Ms. Kepler, Mrs. Weidel,and Sheila cutme out of thier rooms.

"Who did this to me?" Stephanie screamed. There was no answer."Does anyone know what time it is? It is l:45 in the morning." Ms.Kepler yelled very mad.No one said anything. It was just dead silence. The people who didn'tdo anything looked around the room to see who could have done it."So who did this to Stephanie?" Mrs. Weidel asked looking at our sideof the cabin especially. But nobody answered."Aldght everyone get dressed we are going for a late night hike!" Ms.Kepler told us.When we got all of our clothes on I snuck my flashlight in my big coatjust incase anything happens. So we left the cabin and we were all walkingwith eachother."Wouldn't it be cool if we scared them. We could jump out of no

where and scare them. Stay at the back of the linb and we can go downSugar Maple fail. OK?" Kelsey whispered.

"Lets do it!" the rest of us said.So we quick ran down the trail we couldn't turn on the flashlight orthey would see us. We started running and finally when we were donerunning awile we turned on the flashlight and looked around. But the trail

was no where in sight. So we figured if we just started walking we couldfind a road or something. So we started walking and we heard footstepswhich weren't ours then something growled at us. Kari took the flashlightand turned it off. Then we started running.

"Ouch!" Kari screamed. She fell down and banged her finger on thetree. "I think I broke my finger."

"Are you alright?" I asked her as I helped her get up. Then we heardmore footsteps and this time they were closer. They were coming closer andcloser by the second. Then we heard it breathing so we quick got up andstarted running away again.

Once we were far enough and didn't hear the footsteps we stopped toa breath. Kari reached into her pocket to get the flashlight but it was

save us." Tara suggested."Why don't we just sleep hear and find our way back in the light

tommorow."No way! I know for sure that I am not sleeping here tonight.Whatever is after us could eat us when we are sleeping!" I said."Why don't we just keep walking!" Kari.said.So we started walking and we heard more footsteps and more growling

so we started running This time there were two of them. So we ran like thewind and we finally got to a road and we were releived. But the things werestill behind us. Kelsey and I were in the back of Tar4 Sam and Kari. Thethings were so close to us now I could feel it breathing on my neck!

"Something smells like Scope!" Kelsey said. She was breathing sohard I could barely under stand her.

Then all of a sudden it grabbed Kelsey and I. We both turned aroundand a flashlight went on and it was Mike and Clint

"BOO!" Mike screamed. Him and Clint both started laughing. "Youshould have seen the looks on your faces when you guys turned around! Iwish I had my camera!""Oh man we are busted!" Kari said.

Once we got back to the cabins Ms. Kepler was standing in the middleof the cabin with her anns folded. She looked so'mad!

"You guys are in deep trouble! Tomrtorow you wilt hT?Jo cleanelery single .ufiitt r bathroom with yogr tooth-brushes; 'ft is 5:30 and youwifl wake up at 7;00 to start." Ms. Kepler yelled'So the next day we woke up and suffered through cleasistg the

bathrooms. It was HORRIBLE! !!!!!!

',That's right I can't wait to see how wb can torttlre you fOr the rest ofweek!" Mike replied.
