Install MVR Bridge The following instructions will help you install MVR Bridge and facilitate your rating process through FSC.

Launch the Installer

1. Locate MVRBridge Setup.

2. Double click the file to launch the Installer.

The MVR Bridge InstallShield Wizard will open.

3. Keep all the Default settings and click Next, as you move through the four Installer screens.

Complete Set-up

4. If the InstallShield Wizard Complete window displays, then skip the next few steps and click Finish.

5. If the MVR Bridge Registration box opens, enter either your SambaSafety Account Number or Branch Code (example: OKF, ATW1).

6. Click Continue Installation.

7. If the Warning dialog box opens, click Yes to continue.

8. Click Finish.

The MVR Bridge Installation is complete. The remainder of the set up takes place in FSC Rater.

Set up FSC Rater 1. Open FSC Rater.

2. In the lower right of the screen, find Application and click Setup.

The Setup Menu will open.

3. Click MVR Setup.

4. From the System drop-down menu, select First Advantage ADR.

5. Click OK.

MVR Bridge will open the next time you order an MVR.

MVR Bridge Order Flow Order MVRs and VRs

1. Complete the data fields in FSC Rater.

2. At the top of the page, click the Lightning Bolt to open MVR Bridge.

The Order / Login Page will open.

Order / Login Page

The Driver and Vehicle information is pulled from FSC into MVR Bridge. The driver records are ordered based on your selection in FSC. Use the check boxes in the Order Vehicle Report section of the page to order Vehicle Reports.

1. Select the Vehicle Reports to be ordered.

2. Enter your User Name and Password.

3. From the drop-down menu, select Reason for MVR.

4. Click Start.

After successful login, the Violation View page will open.

Violation View Page

If there is a mismatch in the Last Name and DOB between FSC and MVR, an alert will display as shown below.

1. Click OK to navigate to Violation View page.

Retain FSC Rater Data

Violations in red must be resolved in order to continue.

1. To navigate without resolving the ambiguity, select Retain FSC Rater Data at the bottom left of the page.

Resolve Ambiguities

2. To resolve ambiguities, click Resolve Ambiguity/Missing.

The Missing Violation window will open.

3. From the drop-down menus, select the appropriate Violation Category and Violation Description.

4. Click OK.

5. After the violations are resolved, click Next to navigate either to the next driver or to the Review page.

Review Page

1. To print every driver and vehicle listed, click Print All.

2. To print individual reports, select the corresponding checkboxes. This will enable the Open and Print Selected buttons. Entries without a checkbox indicate the order was not placed with SambaSafety.

 

3. To return to the Violation View Page, click Open.

Print

When either the Print Selected or the Print All option is selected, all reports will display in a single window. You can use the scroll bar to view all of the reports.

4. To print the report on its own page, click the Print button on the upper right of the window.

Cancel the Report

1. If you click Cancel before the information has been sent back to FSC, an alert will display.

2. Click No to allow the process to continue.

Finish the Process 1. To finish the process, click Finish. The MVR information will be sent back to FSC and the MVR

Bridge application will close.

Common Questions Q: What if I forget to check a box to order a Vehicle Report?

A: You would start in the FSC Rater to launch MVR Bridge again. Then select the appropriate Vehicles on the order page.

Q: In this situation, am I billed for re-processing the MVR a second time?

A: No. In this scenario you are not billed for re-running the report.
