Muse Jewellery Design is a mixture of Italian, Mexican and

Kiwi styles.

Paula Garcia is the owner and designer of Muse Jewellery

Design and she personally handcrafts each piece using high

quality materials. Her designs are eco-friendly as all of her

Steampunk creations are in part, or made entirely from

actual recycled clock parts and vintage watch mechanisms.

Paula started making jewellery in 2004, and she just loved it

so much that in 2006 went to Florence, Italy and did a

contemporary jewellery course. There she learnt all the

basics about jewellery design, construction and soldering.

Paula is originally from Mexico City and in early 2010

moved permanently to New Zealand, but it was not until

the end of 2011 that she started her jewellery business in

Christchurch. Not long after that she was introduced to

Steampunk and because she could not stop thinking about

it she started making Steampunk inspired jewellery as the

possibilities are endless and every piece is unique, just like

people.
