new bottom-out stopper is availablefrom Mueller that will simplify repairs

on existing by-pass lines where bottom-outfittings have been installed. It reliably stopsthe flow of natural gas by plugging the bot-tom opening with a dual-action mechanicalstopper with a rubber seat. This eliminatesthe need to create new stops in the line,saving time and money.

The stopper is used with a Mueller stoppingmachine by inserting it into the bottom ofthe fitting. A special pressure equalizingvalve operates automatically to allow easystopper removal. Where gas flow beyondthe repair area cannot be interrupted, anintegral by-pass line can be installed betweentwo Mueller machines.

The Mueller bottom-out stoppers (patentpending) are available for use with Muellerstopping machines on all Mueller 2", 3", 4",6" and 8" bottom-out fittings. Stoppers arealso available for the enhanced-design 10"and 12" bottom-out fittings.*
