Student email accounts are for school-related communications. They will only contact users who are part of

the BCSD network.

Students cannot send attachments to other students. Attachments can be sent to and received from teachers.

Office Applications:Online Editor vs. Full Version

MS Office applications are available in Online Editor format anywhere you have an internet connection.

The online editor

provides basic

functions of Office

programs and is

available even if you

are not working on

a device that has MS Office

installed

You can change to the full version of an Office program by selecting “Edit Document”. MS Office must be installed on the computer to use

this feature.

Tips: • Online editors have

most, but not all, features of the application.

• Starting a new document in 365 automatically creates a saved copy in your OneDrive.

• To rename a document in the online editor, click on the title and type in the file name you want to use.

• There is no Save feature in the online editor; changes are saved in real-time as you make them.

“Can view” allows users to

save a document, open it and

edit; however, no changes are
