evening before our ‘Big Day’. This year, we have a complete day of optional activities. You may choose to do both October 10 activities or just one. Here are your options:

1. 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art: We will leave the Radisson Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. on our luxury motor coach and travel to Bentonville, Arkansas to tour the museum sponsored by Wal-Mart. Crystal Bridges features more than 400 works by American masters that highlight the full scope of American art and history. The collection is arranged chronologically to tell the story of America’s history as seen by its artists. In addition, to celebrate the second anniversary of the opening of the museum, Crystal Bridges is presenting a special exhibit – State of the Art – featuring contemporary artists from across the United States. Works from more than 100 artists will showcase the astonishing spectrum of artwork being produced today in studios across America. Cost for this trip will be $37 which includes admission, lunch, and transportation. We will arrive back at the Radisson at 4:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. We must have a minimum of 40 people for this excursion.

2. 7 p.m. Clay Cooper’s Country Express Show. It’s more than country! Clay Cooper’s Country Express has something for everyone with high energy singin’, dancin’, gun-slingin’, trick-ropin’ and hysterical comedy along with a six-piece live band and ten incredible dancers. Cost for this show is $26 which includes transportation. If the Crystal Bridges option does not have the required minimum of 40 people, an additional charge for transportation will need to be made. If the Crystal Bridges trip happens, then that same coach will transport us to the Clay Cooper Theatre.

Payment: Another change from previous years. Once you receive from Ramona your registration form to register for MRTA Branson Fun Day activities, you will complete the form and return it to Angie at Ozarks’ Kirkwood Tour and Travel. The Radisson will no longer be able to process the Fun Day package registrations. That will be done by Angie at Ozarks’ Kirkwood. The registration form will include Angie’s address – mail the form back to Angie. No charges will appear on your credit card until after the October 1 final cancellation date. Lodging room charges at the Radisson will not be charged until you check out. Ramona, Angie, and Mary Lynne will coordinate all through this process. You will still receive a letter from Mary Lynne around October 1 with all the details – just as you have in the past. October 6 through 14: As in past years, discounts will be available to you for many other Branson shows and attractions. These discounts will be available to you October 6 through 14. To receive the discount, you will need a discount card to present to those theatres – that card will be mailed to you with the letter Mary Lynne will send October 1 to all Fun Day attendees. A complete list of the shows and attractions participating in this option will be available by June 1.
