EXCITE is also your bridge to the future. It was developedand continues to be refined on GE’s high field cylindricalsystems. The EXCITE platform is GE’s exclusive MR data pipeline optimized to handle today’s higher volumes of imagedata. In addition to the scalable, multi-channelarchitecture, its unique productivity advantages include:

• Fast pulse sequence play-out

• Reconstruction up to 850 images/sec (2562 FFT)

The productivity pipeline.Profile EXCITE also enables fast workflow with featuresthat enhance efficiency throughout the exam:

• True simultaneity – Technologists can acquire, reconstruct, post-process, archive, network and film images at the same time.

• More room – Profile has the most spacious aperture in its class 120 cm (4 ft) by 42 cm (16.5 in) and a tablerated to 180 kg (400 lbs) to accommodate a full range of patients and procedures.

• Isocenter scanning – The table slides laterally (24 cm)and longitudinally to easily position off-center anatomy in isocenter for optimal image quality.
