Mz began in 1990 with two brothers designing and building distinctive, modern metal furniture in a San Francisco Bay Area garage, and has grown and evolved in countless ways over the past two-and-a-half decades. We now boast a 40,000 square-foot manufacturing facility housing state-of-the-art equipment expertly operated by some of the finest Technicians and Craftspeople to be found around the Bay creating

a plethora of designer metal products that span an impressive range of markets, both domestically and internationally.

From Designer Metal Laminates to Architectural Products like Columns, Wall Panels, Ceilings, Room Dividers, Signage, Fixtures and Unique Art Mz continues to offer the Design Community unexpectedly inventive ways to utilize sustainable metals to create the environments of their dreams, while supporting the Contractor Community with simple, practical solutions that merge the project scope with their budgets.

GradientsOur nine Gradients Colors provide a different variety of blended color, each with two contrasting colors merging in a gradated style. Mz Gradients are available in a complementary selection of Grains, and, as with all our color applications, the etched Grain underneath creates a dynamic play of light and dark reflectivity within each individual color palette. Classic ColorsWithin our collection of Classic Colors are the Neutrals, Earth, Radiance, and Woodz lines, with a total of thirty-four individual colors. In this collection, a single color is applied to the entire surface of the etched metal, allowing the reflectivity of the etching to alter the appearance of tone and hue in the applied color. Custom colors and color matching are also available.

At Mz Designs, we pride ourselves in our commitments to our community and to the world.

The raw materials used for the manufacturing of Mz products are domestically sourced metals purchased from reputable vendors. Mz Metals have an extremely long-lasting installed lifespan, and can be recycled once their useful life in the applied environment has come to an end. As such, Mz Aluminum Products contribute to LEED Credits for Recycled Content, and specific LEED credits vary by product, as well as by region of installation.

In 2012, Mz installed an impressive on-site Solar System to power our offices and manufacturing facilities, and

now boast sufficient electrical power generation to supply our own power as well as contributing power back to

the utilities grid.
