**Have your child bring in (Tues-Fri) an item from your house that begins with the letter of the week**

LEARNING TARGETS

Literacy:

*I can blend onset and rime of single syllable words

*I can begin to blend phonemes

*I can show you how print works

*I can count the words in a sentence

*I can tell important facts from informational text

Writing:

*I can write my last name.

*I can use recognizable letters in my writing.

Math:

*I can recognize symmetry

*I can use a strategy to solve a simple math problem

*I can recognize numerals to 10 or beyond

Science:

*I can understand life cycles of plants and animals
