Recognised under the World Trade Organization agreement on the application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS) as the standard setting organisation for animal health and zoonoses

178 Member Countries in 2012

Delegates are nominated by the government of the member country they represent, usually the chief veterinary officer
