OUR STICKLEY STORY
Dear Friends,
Since its founding in 1900, Stickley has received many worthy tributes and awards.
In 2014 our company received national recognition as one of the healthiest companies in America by Interactive Health, the leading provider of outcomes-based health management solutions. Stickley was recognized for its efforts to prioritize employee wellness and create an ongoing culture of health. Our year-round wellness program, Stickley Fit for Life, has impacted the quality of life of our employees from smoking cessation, and the biggest loser weight loss program, to walk at work, and annual base line testing. Individuals are delighting in taking personal responsibility for their well-being while enjoying the fun and camaraderie of their colleagues.
During the gathering of our dealers in June, we celebrated the 40th anniversary of our familys purchase of Stickley. In recognition of our revitalizing the iconic Stickley brand, our dealers presented us with a tribute engraved on a beautiful silver tray, reminiscent of one Leopold Stickley received in 1956. It reads in part:

Dear Mom and Dad,
The Stickley rocking chair is very symbolican item of furniture that beckons infants and nonagenarians. In 2015, I will be sitting in it as I read and contemplate inequities in global health. In 2020, I hope that you will be sitting in it as you rock and bond with a child of mine. In 2030, you will be sitting in it somewhere in my house where you will then be living so that you can be present in my childrens lives and I can help with whatever you need assistance with. In 2050, I will be sitting in itgray/white hair, perhaps knitting or perhaps just taking in what will be going on around me, ideally holding my grandchildren. In 2114, some Welch will be sitting in it, not someone that we will ever know about or meet, but a descendent of you two, someone who will be preserving the dual legacy of cherishing both fine family and fine furniture. 1995 BUSINESS OF THE YEARStickley is chosen as the Business of the Year by the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce for its entrepreneurial spirit, staying power, good business practices and workplace innovation.
1997 ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEARIn recognition of their entrepreneurship and business leadership, Alfred and Aminy Audi win the 1997 Upstate New York Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
