Mobile Contractor launched back in November 2013 as an app based website focussing exclusively on contract jobs. In May 2014 we then launched www.mobilecontractor.co.uk to widen our candidate reach.
Our mission is to simplify advertising, searching and filling contract roles with simple processes by focussing just on contract roles we have been able to connect freelance professionals from multiple sectors with Agencies and Employers looking for talent.

Our niche is that we are contract only, so our users are from multiple sectors.
Yet we have focussed on industries independently to build up our users. Our core industry's are currently in IT, Construction and Accountancy. Yet this is changing all the time.
Downloads of the app are increasing every day. Yet this is not the only measure of
the app’s success. 37% of users use the app more than twice in a month, with
1,500 job searches being run in January alone.
