Mitchell Woodcock is the up and coming Australian Choreographer to watch. Mitchell’s journey so far is one of a true prodigy.

Mitchell has worked alongside directors Ignatius Jones and Craig Illot as Resident Choreographer for the debut season of PACHA at The ivy, Sydney to great acclaim. His choreography was also seen in 2013 at the World Premiere of the film Les Miserable in Sydney and in 2014 Mitchell was the youngest Choreographer to be featured on So You think You Can Dance in the world.

As a performer, Mitchell was cast in the role of Arab at the age of 17 in the Australian touring production of West Side Story. Since then he has been privileged to have been engaged as a performer with some of Australia’s leading choreographers including Kelley Abbey, The Squared Division, Matt Lee, Cameron Mitchell and Project Moda. His screen credits include ABC’s Dance Academy, Channel 7’s The X Factor, YTT, Channel 9’s Mornings with Kerri-Anne and The Disney Channel. On stage, Mitchell has also had the opportunity to perform with recording artists Kelley Rowland, Cassie Davis, Delta Goodrem, and Sneaky Sound System. And in 2011 Mitch was given the great opportunity to work with Baz Lurhmann as a featured dancer in his film The Great Gatsby.

Mitchell toured with the Broadway musical Wicked in South Korea in 2011/2012 and in 2013 he travelled throughout Europe as part of the cast of the International World Tour of West Side Story in the role of Dance Captain and ensemble. 2014 has seen Mitchell performing on stages and screens in Sydney as well as appearing in Guys and Dolls in Melbourne for The Production Company.
