DESCRIPTION
The project revolves around the woman, her faces, her roles. The 'Trophy', the 'Seductress' , the 'Societal Victim' , the 'Envious woman' ... Each woman has a story...each story has an emotion..each emotion has a life depicted through color... The poetry and prose attached to each 'painting on fabric' are real life excerpts from my writing. A collection of 'Paintings on Fabric' , that can be used as wall hanging pieces, couch | bed throws. There is only one canvas painting in the collection - unconventionally framed.

Bio• Anne Gedeon, was born in the US in 1975;
and raised between the US and the Gulf. Her professional background is in advertising and events management. She worked with Chic Alors Middle East for over 10 years and in 2009 launched her own jewelry label - G R I N BY ANNE GEDEON which is stocked in the Middle East & expanding to Asia. She also is an amateur photographer and has held solo and group photography exhibitions in Dubai and Beirut. She also has done styling, graphic design, creative consulting for various entities like Boutique hotels, retail stores & body products. She currently designs for her jewelry label and works on special collaborative art projects.
• Noura Al Masri, was born in Dubai in 1981; artist and painter she has held solo and group art exhibitions around the Middle East, NYC, Russia, and Scotland. Her work has been interpreted in different forms and has evolved into different medias as well.. One of which was the SS12 Carnival fashion collection that was inspired by a "Carnival" painting created by fashion designer Maison Rana. Noura has taught art to kids & adults; and has given workshops and speeches at schools and colleges in the UAE. She also writes stories and has worked as a graphic designer. She is currently a gallery manager running the first Cartoon Art Gallery in the Middle East as well as an artist who works on special & collaborative art projects
