The Middlesex Community College graduate will use
discipline-associated knowledge acquired at the college as a
foundation for continued study and/or practical application.
Additionally, the MCC community has identified six student
learning outcomes . These skills and abilities are essential to
students’ learning and development. There is a wide range of
curricular and co-curricular learning opportunities for students
to develop and practice them to ensure that graduates are well-

Over 200 co-curricular events and programs occur during an
academic year. Most of these offer hands-on opportunities for
students to practice student learning outcomes and support
their academic curriculum. In addition, over 35 clubs and
organizations offer a distinctive learning experience where
each active member will intensely practice at least 4 ISLOs.
Faculty who are searching for a unique or individualized
experience to compliment their syllabus are encouraged to
meet with an engagement specialist to design a specific
program that meets their needs.
