Born on May 19, 1953 in Murray, Utah, to Don and Rainy Howard. He was truly the best at whatever he did. If he didn’t know how to do it, he would learn. He graduated from Cottonwood High School and served a two-year mission in Austria for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He excelled in many sports and was an excellent athlete. He was very successful in whatever profession he chose. Mike was happiest spending time with family and adored nothing more than spoiling his grandchildren and grand-dogs, many of whom were not his own. He had an unlimited amount of energy and could keep up with any child and there was not a dog he could not befriend. Preceded in death by his father, Donald Eugene Howard. Survived by mother, Lorraine Fox Howard; children: Janae (Clay) Masters, Tamara Smith, Angela Howard, Eric M. (Kristy) Howard, Brady T. (Jamie) Howard; grandchildren: Gavin, Chae, Cole, Brylee, Breck, Odin, and Averi; brothers: Brian and Jess; Sisters: Linda, Diane, and Carrie. A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2020, 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 15429 Iron Horse Boulevard, Bluffdale, Utah. Family prayer will be 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Mike will be laid to rest at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah.
