just did. union black came out in 2011 by are good friends

skindred. The Reggie rock combo band. 1st song that most

people will know about is the song warning. This song was

made even more famous after skindred hit the main stage in

2011 at download festival when yes they invrented the

Newport helicopter.

This album also features songs like dum rift, gun talk

features lyrics talking about gun culture and crime and

gives a valuble and strong lesson through the word of

music .

hahahahha i am back

and ready to tell you

all the latest bin

going on in this rock

metal world of mine.

as you can see ive bin

round west of

england checking out

a few gigs.

1st gig i went to was

at the fleece place

called bristol. seen

this amazing metalica

band crazy sounds

just like the real

thing.

then i went to

Weston grand pier to

check out this band

called enter shikari

never herd of them up

to this point bloody

amazing.

Anywaz metal

mashers ill be back

next week with some

more news what ive

bin up to keep rocking

metal mashers.

Page 16: Metal Mash issue 9

My gig review this weeks

comes from an unlikely

source yes Weston

grand peir held

absolutely amazing

performance from enter

shikari one of this years

second stage headliners

at download festival.

This gig also featured

hactaivist which put on

an ok performance.

I have to say up to

before the main event

shikari the gig was

amazing Weston super

mare grand peir had one

of its 1st mosh pits. was

a classic rock gig

Page 17: Metal Mash issue 9

enter shikari came on

stage and from there

the average 700 fans

were blown away. it even

featured moments like

one of the guitarist

going up on a ride on the

pier. the gig was truly a

360 experience. Weston

grand pier is used to

being lit up with lights

and attractions but

nothing like what enter

shikari brought that

night the lights and the

music combined put on a

show that you would

never forget dont

forget to check them

out on tour.

Page 18: Metal Mash issue 9

This weeks band to watch is one of a kind band from the

west country called terminal moraine. This unique band

plays an old school trash grove metal sound which

makes the audience walk away thinking wow. The band

features Dylan on vocals rhythm guitar , Tom on the

bass , Alex on lead guitar and of course the one and only

Ben price on drums. the band is influenced by allot of

acts such as slayer , Metallica , iron maiden and of

course black Sabbath. this band is growing in popularity

putting on an amazing show where ever they play. for

young band they have quality.

Page 19: Metal Mash issue 9

Despite their youth, the lads have been working their way up

on the gigging circuit, carving out a reputation as a hot live

band with a commanding show having played numerous gigs

around the Bristol area, most notably the prestigious

Fleece and Louisianna venues. A typical Terminal Moraine

show includes a guitarist who seems physically unable to

remain in one place for more than a second; playing so fast

that you can’t see his fingers. The singer commands the

show with a strong, clean voice and a quick wit. The bass

player is reminiscent of Rex Brown, not moving around a

whole lot but in possession of a commanding presence, fat

tone and a solid style, with a drummer who plays with such

fury that he looks constantly on the verge of

spontaneous combustion! No Metal core posturing or

Death core crabs in sight, this, then, is a young band proud

to be at odds with the trendy metal of today; hoping to

prove that looking to the past for inspiration is always the

better move!

written bye (terminal moraine)

The band are currently working on there 1st ep and will be

playing at boom fest this year in June. lets hope in 10 years

time they will be playing at download fest in June we can

only wish them all the best.
