Material removal - Rough fi nish: Expansion roller

with coarse abrasive sleeves of grit P60, P80 or

P120 for rapid material removal, giving a rough

Rough welded seam removal: Achieve a near

perfect fi nish with just one disc! The special Combi

Removal of scratches: Skip several process steps

effective at removing scratches whilst also

04 – 05 PROCESSING OF SURFACES AND EDGES

Preparation for polishing: Preparing the material to

be polished by using a Metabo "Pyramid" cling-fi t

sanding discs (A65 to A45 grit). Backing pad

62330000 also needed to support disc.

Preparation for mirror polishing: With the rubber

expansion roller and a very fi ne Metabo Pyramid

grinding belt of grit P2000 (A6 grit).

Polishing to mirror fi nish : Angle polisher PE 12-175

with fl eece polishing disc using white then blue

polishing paste for a mirror-fi nish result.

Removing weld seams, heat discolouration marks, scratches or burrs? The challenge here is not to damage the

surface of the material even when working in hard to reach areas. Skill is required, but also usually more than one

machine and almost certainly through use of more than one type / grade of accessory. Through skill, the right

machines and the right step by step accessory selection process you can obtain quality results at very high

TURN HAND RAILS AND PIPES INTO REALEYE-CATCHERS.

Remove weld seam with the fi llet weld grinder: Thanks to its extremely fl at design the fi llet weld

grinder is ideal for removing welded seams even

in hard to reach places.

Remove heat discolouration: Oxidations can be

removed using the fi let weld grinder and a VKS

disc or surface discolouration can be removed

by using the white polishing paste with felt disc.

Remove a rough weld seam with the Inox angle grinder: In one easy step. Use the inox angle grinder

with the combined lamellar grinding disc (KLS),

even suitable for use on pipes.

Remove burrs: Die grinder for removing burrs /

rough edges from tubes, try the band fi le for box

section.

Removal of welding seam with the pipe belt sander. Pipe belt sander with self sharpening ceramic

sanding belt (P 80) for extremely high stock removal

and extremely good service life.

Remove weld seam: The band fi le can be used to

effectively remove welded seams even in hard to

reach places. Especially useful for a sharp right

angle 90° bend fi nish effect.

06 – 07 PROCESSING PIPES

Tubes, pipes, hand rails, you name it, the pipe belt sander RBE 12-180 can handle them effortlessly. Be it for

cleaning up new welds after a join, restoring worn rails or repairing old welds the RBE 12-180 is the machine for

the job. Its wrap angle of 270°, its 1,200 Watt motor and its CNC milled belt arm make it especially suitable.

Uniform fi nish: The pipe belt sander RBE 12-180 is

especially designed to provide a clean uniform

fi nish. Cost effective and quick to use.

A universal machine: The SE 12-115 can be used as

a pipe sander and a surface fi nisher. The machine

is particularly useful for fi nishing large / narrow fl at

work surfaces.
