Their strength andstability as a medical product is due to exceptionally pure polymerswith varying geometries that are adapted to one another and prepa-red in multiple phases. The same applies with regard to curing therequired monomers so that cross-linked macromolecular networkstructures that are stable in the oral environment, dense and shock-absorbent can be achieved when processing prosthetic acrylics.One of the first dental materials to exhibit a cross-linked, and as aresult, three-dimensional network structure, was the interpenetratingpolymer network (IPN for short). PremEco® Line Precision GelAlternative processing methods for customers who do not have a gel melting machine, but would like to work with PremEco® Line Precision Gel

OPTION 1 Using a microwave1. Soak the plaster model with wax set-up in water for

approx 5min.

2. After 5minutes dry the model with air and place the plaster model in the casting flask.

3. Put 350-400g of small cut up PremEco® Line gel pieces with 20ml tap water into a plastic or ceramic bowl.

4. Start to microwave on full power for approx. 3-4min. Make sure the gel does not start to boil. Open the microwave during the melting process several times to stir the contents.

5. Approx 95°C have been reached when the gel froths up. Handle with care and make sure the gel does not overheat!

6. Let the liquefied gel slowly cool down to 49°C by using a thermometer and stirring it constantly for 3min. Place the bowl in to cold water whilst stirring.

7. Pour the gel, which now has reached a temperature of 45-49°C into the casting flask.

8. For the cooling down period place the filled casting flask into a bowl with approx 3cm cold water for approx 45min.

OPTION 2 Using a sauce pan on a heated plate1 - 2. Same procedure as option 1 applies for these steps

3. Heat 350-400g of small cut pieces of PremEco® Line gel with 25 ml tap water in a sauce pan at highest level for 3min. until the gel liquefies. Stir constantly during the melting process. The gel must not boil.

4. Make sure that the gel does not heat up more than 95°C. Always check the temperature of the gel during the heating process by using a thermometer.

5 - 8. Same procedure as option 1 applies for these following steps

IMPORTANT NOTE:Do not store used and new gel in the same container and never mix used and new material during the process. The quality of the material can be affected by contamination (e.g. dirt).

The gel should not be re-heated more than 12 times as the physical characteristics and quality cannot be guaranteed thereafter.

Mixing ratio: 27.5g powder: 11ml liquid

Weropress AcrylicThis acrylic can be used for:

A-D Shade Guide Highlights Time-Proven A-D ShadesShade communication between dentists and dental technicians is eminently important. Only a reliable and well-proven shade guide can be successfully used for this important function.

Millions of dentists and dental laboratories all over the world have opted for the shade guide with the classical shades designated A1 to D4 in recent years. And many manufacturers of veneering ceramics, composites, denture teeth, but also restorative materials have followed the market and introduced this user-friendly shade standard for their products.

This development offers many advantages for dentists and laboratories alike, for example, the freedom to use materials offered different manufacturers rather than being restricted to a single one.

In order to preserve this standard and to keep it independent, DeguDent, Heraeus Kulzer, Ivoclar Vivadent, Merz Dental and Wieland Dental + Technik decided to join forces in providing standardized shade guides for dentists and dental technicians.

Their A-D Shade Guide Workgroup, which is open to all dental manufacturers, has the aim to promote an established and generally recognized shade standard to ensure that dental professionals can meet their treatment objectives reliably and - by implication - more economically. This reliable common standard will be implemented consistently in the product portfolios offered by all member companies.

In addition to the well-known 16 standard shades of the A-D Shade guide, it features four optional new bleach shades (BL1–BL4) available on a separate shade guide module.

The new A-D Shade Guide will enable dentists and dental technicians to continue working with the familiar A to D shades and the four new bleach shades: consistently, reliably and with excellent shade fidelity.

The Polystar® Selection tooth convinces with its exceptional colouring, which gives it a brilliant and individual look. Based on a well-arranged variety of shapes, a solution can be found for every prosthetic case.

Polystar® Selection posteriors with their occlusal surface are modelled on the adult tooth and can be set up within a short time. The preventive sliding groove PSG® prevents rotative and tipping movements of the tooth, especially in cases when hard modern modelling waxes are being used. The spherical approximal contact surfaces offer a firm sagittal point of orientation in the process of trial fitting. Convex occlusal ridges provide a high shearing capability for the patient.

The Polystar® Selection tooth is a universal tooth that was developed at high quality standards. Made of OMP-N® (Organic Polymer Modified-Network), the level of cross-linking is identical to the integral® tooth line and guarantees one of the highest abrasive densities that unfilled artificial teeth have reached until now.
