When we welcomed our second baby four years ago, we also welcomed our �rst DSLR. I was equally terri�ed of it. “�ey grow so fast,” I reminded myself as I forcefully learned it inside and out. All I wanted was to take cute portraits of my crew on command.

But after countless photos and forced smiles, I started to see something more. More than just dirty clothes. More than just to-do lists that felt never-end-ing. I saw my children growing up. Like, really growing up. Into real people. And it had nothing to do with poise or posing. It was everything in between. It was in the real moments where they squealed, and laughed, and cried, and found themselves more capable than the day before.

I choose to see this beauty and chaos through a lens. A lens that allows me to grab ahold of the �eeting moments that otherwise fade so quickly. A lens that reteaches me so much about the basics of life. A lens that also helps me make sense of the day-to-day and to visualize the perfect imperfections that lie within it.

Shooting clients in their everyday lets them celebrate the ordinary. I believe in discovering the hidden miracles within the mundane. I use my camera to trace the tiny details of other people’s stories and hand back the moments that slip away so quickly.

I want to highlight the moments that seem to say, “Hey—this might be ridiculously hard and chaotic, but it’s so worth it.” Look around. It is all so beautiful and temporary and worth it. SATURDAY MORNING SESSIONS

Some of the biggest things in life to celebrate are those things we never stop to notice. Saturday Morning Sessions are all about �nding those hidden miracles within the mundane, celebrating the ordinary and �nding beauty in the everyday chaos that you thought couldn’t possibly be beautiful.

I will arrive at your house before children wake on a Saturday morning and spend the morning photographing your family just being “you.” Breakfast, morning cartoons, free play and all things that make your Saturday mornings memorable. I will then allow your family time to change into clothes for an organized family session afterwards. �is will include individual portraits of your children, and you with your spouse.

FAMILY LIFE SESSIONS.

Family Life sessions are all about telling your family’s story honestly, authentically and beauti-fully. �ey are about capturing your children the way they really are - the way you’ll want to remember them years down the road. �ey’re about showing mothers how beautiful they are standing at the stove, with a crying baby on her hip. �ey’re about telling you, mom, that you are awesome - that you’re doing it so right.

Family Life sessions include up to 2 hours of documentary, photojournalistic-style shooting in your home,. While posed shots won’t be the main focus, those have their place too and you will walk away with some nice, traditional family photos. �e ultimate goal is to see you and your family interact as you do everyday and �nding the natu-ral happiness that your children see in their natu-ral element - home.

NEWBORN SESSIONS.

I take a documentary approach to newborn sessions. From the minute a baby is born, a connection is formed between baby and parent. And so often, it is di�cult for new parents to see this amidst the crying, hourly feedings, diaper changes and lack of sleep. Babies know you more than you know them. �ey know your voice, your smell. My job is to look for these tiny connections that would otherwise go unnoticed. I capture your newborn honestly, in their only familiar element outside of your womb - home. I strive to capture your interactions with your new little one. I love to watch your pets try make sense of the new being in the house. I will never put your baby in a basket or a sling. I will only place your baby in natural locations, such as your arms. We will take several breaks for feedings, changes or sanity gathering. It will be sweet and fun. My ulitmate goal is to capture the tire in your eyes and the love in your heart. �e ordinary moments of such an extraordinary time in your life.

LIFE EVENT SESSIONS.

�ere are so many events in life with stories worth telling. Milestone birthdays. Anniversaries. Baptisms. Communions. And then there are sporting events, school functions and times when having your own camera in hand just doens’t seem feasible. I will tell your event’s story. From start to �nish, the important details of your day will be captured, along with those moments you probably never saw because you were busy taking care of the core details.

I believe all of life’s events, big and small, are worth capturing and I believe in cherishing the raw emotion that comes with them. Every laugh, tear and applause.

HOSPITAL NEWBORNSESSIONS.

�e �rst 48 hours of life are a joyful whirlwind. You’re trying to soak it all in, �gure out how on earth you’re going to take care of this new miracle in your arms, master feedings, heal... oh, and take a few pictures along the way. And years later, when you look back on the birth experi-ence, those �rst short days in the hospital always come to the forefront. “�at was amazing”, you tell yourself. “And I’d do it again in a heartbeat.” I will capture those �rst little details. �e tender “get to know you” moments of meeting your newborn. �e visitors. �e nurses. All of the details that make your hospital stay memorable before you set out to take on the world with your new addition. I will come spend a couple of hours in your hospital room document-ing your experience honestly. �is is a story is worth telling.

THE PROCESS

To reserve your date, a 50% retainer fee is required at the time of booking. Dates �ll up quickly, but I will do everything in my power to work with you on schedule. After all, the best shots will come at the times that work best for you and your family.

Once the retainer fee has been paid, you will start to receive pretty surprises via mail up until your session date. �ese materials will assist you with everything from what to wear to guides to unposed shots, and more.

Within a few days after your session, you will see a limited number of sneak peek shots through social media and my blog.

You will receive a fully edited, online gallery of your photos within 10 business days of our shoot. Ordering of photos can be made directly from the gallery.
