Module objectives
1. Reflecting on students’ own level of creativity and developing an innovative mindset.
2. Creating awareness of those factors, characteristics and procedures that make
individuals and companies creative and innovative.
3. Based on an understanding of possible barriers for creativity and innovation, students
appreciate the importance of systematically planning for innovation.
4. Identifying corporate growth opportunities to maximize growth and profitability.
5. Understanding the implications and opportunities from relating innovation and
corporate social responsibility.
6. Acquire a basic understanding of change management.
7. Explain the role of a leader for innovation planning.
8. Understand the relationship between Innovation planning and Total Quality
Management.

After completing this course, you are able to:
1. Apply tools to unlock creativity and innovation.
2. Improve innovation capabilities of employees by developing a corporate
culture conducive for creativity and innovation.

+/- 10%)- accounts to 25% of Final Mark 3. Project (Team): Innovation Management Plan based on chosen Product/Service or Social
or Process Innovation based on Innovation Management Plan Template provided in class-
accounts for 25% of final mark 4. Presentation of Innovation Management Plan (Team)- accounts for 10% of final mark 5. Individual Final Exam based on lecture content- accounts for 40% of the final mark.
