MAXIMO Enterprise Adapter for Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Applications enables MAXIMO to collaborate with PeopleSoft Enterprise applications by coordinating processes and information exchange between both systems. MAXIMO Enterprise Adapter for PeopleSoft Enterprise MAXIMO Enterprise Adapter for PeopleSoft Enterprise Applications provides integration across modules that are typically integrated between MAXIMO and PeopleSoft Enterprise applications. These are Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise General Ledger, Payables, Inventory, and Purchasing. The adapter’s extensible standard-based framework with a library of pre-defined integration points provides a complete integration enablement environment that is infinitely less complex to implement and manage. These libraries can be tailored to meet specific business scenarios as well as extended to support additional business scenarios and integration requirements. Organizations can quickly and efficiently configure, extend, and adapt their integrations according to their business processes.

The adapter is packaged with easy-to-use visual and graphical elements to assist in integration configuration deployment and customization. It also features built-in logging, recovery, notification, and management functions that are required in reliable enterprise integration.

The adapter provides an end-to-end integration between MAXIMO and PeopleSoft Enterprise applications, using approved integration processes on both ends. The adapter extends MAXIMO’s business components by applying advanced features such as publish and subscribe and deferred validation to coordinate complex application-to-application interactions with these components.

On the PeopleSoft Enterprise side, the integration is accomplished through a combination of the PeopleSoft Enterprise AppConnect technologies. This integration technology is utilized to set up and maintain the various transactions sent to and received from Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Financials and Supply Chain Management products. In some cases, a message is published in response to a component change on a page within the PeopleSoft Enterprise environment. In other cases, a batch of messages is sent out in response to a full data publish of a single table or view.
