Engineering Experience Freshman/Sophomore Engineering Clinic I and II Designed and constructed a battery using chemicals and materials in order to provide power to a motor. Experimented with alternate energy sources, including hydro, wind, and solar energy to perform various tasks. Experimented with the production of Biofuels from corn oil and cooking oil waste to determine combustion

Used Excel’s Linear Programming model and manual calculations to reinforce and determine the best optimization

for a specific model used for site planning. Utilized statistics, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing to determine the result of a certain parameter based on

previous assumptions to better optimize the model. Civil Engineering Materials Worked with different types of aggregates to determine specific properties, and also the gradation curve for the type

and amount of aggregates passing through each sieve. Made and tested concrete cylinders and beams to determine their compression and tensile strengths, respectively, to

meet specific criteria for ultimate strength. Tested asphalt binder as well as made and testes the final asphalt puck for specific properties to determine the overall

durability of the sample.Junior Engineering Clinic I Group participant involved with the development of a risk analysis for a fully autonomous vehicle. Interacted with professors and researchers at Rowan and Clemson Universities. Utilized Isograph program to determine failure probabilities of each component. Presented our project at an Autonomous Vehicle Symposium in Albany, NY.
