“Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you

always, even to the end of the age. Amen.” (Matthew 28:20)

Matthew

have the obligation to honor their parents because the role of parent is ordained of God.

The Bible does not say that only biological parents are to be honored by children.

Children have the responsibility to honor whoever is operating in the father’s or

mother’s role, i.e., stepparent(s), grandparents, aunts and uncles, etc.

125. He who will be great among you, shall be your servant. (Mark 10:43)

126. Whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your servant. (Mark 10:44); (Matthew
