Duties include:
I setup and run parts, as well as supervise and train other machinist. I ensure all parts are being manufactured per customer’s request and in the time allotted. I order tooling needed for current and future jobs. I am very fluent in EIA and Mazatrol programming. I also prove and correct programs that are created in Mastercam. My department currently consists of three vertical mills and two horizontal mills with fourth axis. I also perform maintenance on our machines, which includes spindle replacements, servo motors and troubleshooting drives and tolerance specs. I typically decide how parts are to be set up and fixtured.
